About Me

On Facebook there is a section called "About Me". I finally put something in there and thought it would be good to post here also. So if you're wondering about me - read on.....

I'm a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend.

I'm also a 44 year old adult who doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up! Ha!

I like to write but haven't done much in the last 15 years - except for the yearly Christmas letter which I didn't even write this year.

I attempt to teach 7th & 8th grade Sunday school, but usually learn more from the kids than they do from me.

I work part-time for a great non-profit and have met many inspiring people through this job.

I like reading a good book.

I love to make quilts and give to others.

I like to sew, but I don't make clothes!!

My favorite season is fall and I like the colors: purple, red and blue.

I'm a homebody. I enjoy being with my husband and daughters.

I cherish my quiet times and I love taking naps.

I'm basically a happy person and feel blessed with the life I have!

Name Change

It seems like I never gave you any stories about the "quilt pieces" in my "life's quilt". (See entry below.) I decided to change the name of this blog from "Quilt Pieces" to "Living Like Ziggy." I think the new title reflects my life better these days. I still like quilts and will probably talk about my latest project(s) that isn't finished - Ha!
